This off-center fed dipole antenna is ruggedly built with 14 awg stranded copper wire, and is weather-resistant for outdoor use in permanent installations--- external hardware is stainless steel. Weather-resistant enclosure. Operates on 40, 20, 10, and 6 meters without tuner (tuner needed for full band coverage on 10m, will operate on 12m w/tuner). Antenna portion is made from 68 ft. of wire, 23 ft. on one side, 45 feet on the other. Dogbone insulators at each end. Max. power 1 KW PEP, 600CW, 250w digital. The antenna functions best in an inverted V configuration with the center at 25-35 ft. Ends should be at 8-10 ft. above ground. It also makes a great shortwave antenna as well.
